Daniel Funk

Daniel brings a unique blend of technical acumen and insurance knowledge to his role as Client Executive, advising construction, design, development and general commercial clients.  Having grown up in his family’s construction business, Daniel received hands-on training and experience in the industry from a young age.  Building upon that interest, he graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Manitoba and gained experience at multiple construction and engineering companies, including one of Canada’s largest general contractors,  providing him with an intimate understanding of the specific challenges facing contractors and design professionals.

Daniel joins the team with an established track record in helping clients find the right solutions to their problems.  His background allows him to break down complex problems and communicate solutions in an easy-to-understand manner.  Being licensed coast to coast, he believes hard work, adaptability, and transparency, are the keys to building successful partnerships with his clients.

Beyond his professional life, Daniel enjoys spending time with his family, volunteering, playing hockey, and movies.
